I am able to offer:

How much does a session cost?
Initial 20-25 min chat arranged by appointment – no fee.

Each face to face therapy session – £65

Each online therapy session – £65.

I am also able to accept clients who have policies with BUPA & WPA health insurance.

Where exactly is your clinic?

I run face-to-face clinics as part of the therapeutic team at Moor Therapy, 180a Heaton Moor Road, Stockport, Cheshire, SK4 4DU.There is free on street parking around the building. By public transport my clinic is accessible by coming to Heaton Chapel train station then a 10-15 min walk, or the numbers 42A, 197, 753, 761 & 811 buses stop directly outside the clinic.

What happens if I have to cancel?
I ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice for cancellations, otherwise my full fee is required. This is standard in Counselling & Psychotherapy practice.

(I will always try to work with you to offer an alternative slot to the cancelled session somewhere else in the week as a one-off arrangement if I have a space).

How and when do I pay you?
Payment is due within 24 hours after each session. Payment is via bank transfer. If your fees are being paid for by a healthcare provider we can discuss the process for your specific insurer.

How long and how often are the sessions?
Sessions are for 50 minutes.  Sessions are always weekly initially. Some clients may want to undertake time-limited brief therapy, some may want to work longer term, this can be discussed in our initial chat.

When it feels like things have sustainably improved, then clients are welcome to discuss less regular appointments. For example, some clients may end their weekly therapy but choose to have monthly ‘check-ins’ as part of looking after their general wellbeing.
